CSR Elemental Composition

Elements that are not explicitly accounted for have a fixed mass-relation wih the plant tissue. That is, when a plant organ grows, a fixed fraction of the weight increase is requested from the soil to supply K, Mg, etc. The same fixed proportions are released from the litter on decomposition.
Unability of the soil to supply the required elements will reduce the growth accordingly.
