Returns the composite matrix or structure.


Syntax

Result = Append( Values1; Values1; PivotDim1= -1 ; PivotDim2= -1 );

or

Result = �Values1, Values2; (PivotDim1 = PivotDim2 = -1);


Return Value

Append() returns the composite matrix with the elements of Values2 added to the elements of Values1. The return value is a matrix or structure with the number of dimensions determined by the two arguments and their pivotal dimensions, and with the length of the (pivotal) dimension equal to the sum of the lengths of the pivotal dimensions of the two arguments. Again, any dimension with length = 1 can be extended to any length.

Values1 structure or matrix
Values2 structure or matrix
PibotDim1 one single integer value assigning the pivotal dimension for argument Values1 . If not specified, the last dimension is the pivotal dimension. �
PivotDim2 one single integer value assigning the pivotal dimension for argument Values2 . If not specified, the last dimension is the pivotal dimension. �
